In Mid-July, we will be opening our first retail location in Sebastopol, CA - conveniently located next to Subway and accross from Starbucks coffee. The new location features ample parking, easy access with a turn lane and exits on Hwy 116 and Fellers Lane, plus the convenience of not having to drive to Santa Rosa for parts and service.
Our goal at Ming Tech Support is to help our customers to have the best computing experience possible. For example, if your computer is running slow or crashing, we can accurately diagnose whether you have a software (viruses/spyware) or a hardware (insufficient memory/failure of components) problem. We can help you evaluate whether it is more cost-effective to upgrade your existing computer or replace it. In either case, we can help you find the best products for the best prices. Computers are our passion as well as our business. We keep current with the very latest technology news.

Our Rates:
- Diagnostic: $50.00 (should you choose to repair with us a portion of the diagnostic is credited to the repairs.)
- Standard Shop Rate: $80.00/hr (We quote fixed prices for specific jobs - so you dont have to worry about the price going up.)
- Spring Cleaning - OS Reinstall with Data Backup - $240.00
On-Site Service
We are pleased to provide most of our quality services at your residence or business at rates much lower than a certain big box store with gimicky advertisements.
On-Site Services include:
- Network setup and deployment including both wireless and wired technologies.
- Server/PC/Laptop setup and deployment.
- Computer and network troubleshooting and repair.
- Software setup and deployment.
- Computer maintenance.
- Training.
Onsite service rates:
- Sebastopol (within city boundry): 80.00/hr
- Sebastopol (Rural), Forestville & Santa Rosa: 80.00/hr +10.00 Travel Surcharge
- Healdsburg, Windsor, Petaluma, Bodega, Guerneville, Occidental: 80.00/hr +20.00 Travel Surcharge
- Marin County, Cloverdale, Sonoma: 80.00/hr +40.00 Travel Surcharge
- East Bay, San Francisco: 80.00/hr + 50.00 Travel Surcharge
- Custom Maintenance contracts are also available.
We are willing to and have travelled as far as Los Angeles for our clients. The rates quoted above are subject to change. especially remote areas which fall into the loose geographic areas listed above may incur additional travel charges. If you have questions feel free to call us.
Remote Service
In addition to our instore and onsite tech support we also have the ability to connect to your computer remotely, using LogMeIn Rescue - to diagnose, troubleshoot or just help you with how to do something. The process is fast, convenient and secure. you will be able to see what we are doing in real time.
To use our remote services simply call us at 707-824-8377 or after hours at 707-331-0652; then go to http://www.logmein123.com and enter the temporary code we will give you over the phone. A small applet will run then we will ask permission to take remote control of your computer, click yes and we can begin troubleshooting your issue. The service will be charged to your VISA or MASTERCARD in 15 min increments at our standard shoprate. should our remote diagnosis result in either in-store or on-site service we may credit remote service to the repair work.
Consulting
In addition to providing sales and service we also provide consulting sevices to individuals and businesses.
We can schedule a time to sit down with you and discuss your needs, our goal is to provide you with sound advice on what systems to buy and how best to deploy them. About Us
Ming Tech Support is a computer service/sales/consulting company founded by Michael Ming in October 2003. Our Focus has been providing residential and business customers through out Sonoma County with onsite technical support and consulting services. In June of 2009 we moved forward with plans to open a retail storefront to house our growing operations and include sales of computer systems, components, network gear, software and training materials.
Providing quality service based on old fashioned principles at competitive rates has always been our goal.
We are a licensed Electronic Service Dealer with the California Department of Consumer Affairs: Bureu of Electronic and Appliance Repair.
